| Originally an X-rated animated cartoon, based on Robert Crumb's eccentric cat Fritz, from Zap Comix and Head Comix, as well as underground magazines, this was touted as a funny and gross adult cartoon. Actually only mediocre in the funny part, Fritz does get into some unusual adventures for a cat in the realms of group sex, college radicalism, etc. - problems endemic to the American way of life in the 1960s. |
